Features

Logfly is a free open source paragliding logbook management software. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

It allows to store, visualize and evaluate flight tracks recorded with a GPS. It is possible to add flights without GPS tracks.

A large number of GPS are supported natively: Flytec/Braüniger, Flymaster, Reversale, Skytraxx, Syride, Oudie, XC Tracer... It can also import GPS tracks from the disk, a USB key or a micro storage card.

The flight logbook is easily kept up to date by automatically detecting the take off. It provides accurate flight statistics for the year, month etc...

Each track can be evaluated according to the rules of the XC Contest or the French CFD. On a full screen map, Logfly displays an analysis of thermals and transitions.

Evolution

Logfly has been around for several years. Version 6 is currently under development. The latest developments in operating systems have triggered stability problems in Logfly 5. Version 6 is completely rewritten but does not yet have all the features of version 5. If your computer can support version 5, it is possible to have both versions in parallel. See the Logfly 5 page to see the level of compatibility for each operating system.

Version 6 works on all three platforms without compatibility problems. The logbook is fully operational. Secondary modules are missing: waypoint management, airspace management.
